Information We Collect

We collect information from you when you place an order or fill out a form. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your; name, e-mail address, phone number or credit card information.

How We Use Your Information

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways.

  • To personalise your experience (your information helps to better respond to your individual needs).

  • To process transactions.

  • To send periodic emails.

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.

How We Protect Your Information

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you submit a form. We use a secure server. All submitted form data is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted. Access to the database is only accessible by those authorised with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

Retaining Personal Information

We retain personal information about you for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law.

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us. When your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of securely.

Non-Disclosure Of Information To Outside Parties

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in delivering our services to you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

Access to your information

You have a right of access to the information we hold on you, as well as the right to request we amend it or delete it, unless prohibited by law. This will be done within 30 days of the request. There is no charge to access, update or delete your information. If you receive our newsletter via MailChimp you can amend the information and marketing permissions as well as unsubscribe via the links contained in the bottom of the newsletter.

Cookies

We collect anonymous tracking information via Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Console and Bing to better understand how visitors use our website. This information is kept for two years. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for further information. 

Marketing

We send occasional emails (no more than two a year) to people who shown and interest in our services. The distribution list is managed by a secure third party, Mailchimp (https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/). You may change your preferences or unsubscribe via Mailchimp at any time. Neither we nor Mailchimp will pass your details onto any third party.

In compliance with UK Spam Laws and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Photography

During lessons we may take photos of clients and children under the age of 18 skiing. Our instructors use photography and videos in order to give feedback and instruction.

We may also use photography or footage of our clients or children under instruction on our website, Facebook and Instagram galleries for them to view at the end of the week, and also for marketing purposes. This will only be done with the express permission of the client, their parents or guardians, no personal details will be disclosed.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page.
