Alpine Pros was born in the heart of the 3 Valleys.
Alpine Pros offers private ski instruction in both Courchevel and Méribel from English, fully qualified Snow Sports Instructors (ISTD), registered with BASI and SIM. We are a professional private ski school, teaching all levels from total beginners right through to freestyle and off-piste guided sessions in the world's best terrain.
Our mission is to expand your skiing potential. We create the perfect situation to inspire transformations in our clients. The team's drive, energy and love for skiing is portrayed in every lesson, we guarantee you will leave feeling fulfilled and accomplished.
MEET BRUCE
Welcome to Alpine Pros.
I started my independent ski school to share my love and passion for skiing and the mountains with others.
I first skied in the 3 Valleys when I was eleven years old on a school trip and I was hooked. I've always had a fascination for the area, and after leaving university in my early twenties I made the decision to make it my winter home.
Teaching is in my blood. I've taught rugby, strength and conditioning and basketball since sixteen years old. Adding skiing to that list has made a real sense of success in my chosen life.
I have been lucky enough to work in Australia, Italy, Switzerland and now France. As a top fully qualified Snow Sports Instructor registered with BASI and SIM being able to share that knowledge, experience and professionalism with my clients is a dream come true.
I've always struggled to describe my personality.
I feel like it depends on whether I have had my morning coffee. Because I could be swinging all the way from witty and full of banter to a borderline social hermit.
Luckily, I’m a guy who has to have my routine every morning and I grab that coffee without fail, so I'm always full of chitchat and laughter. Although, that’s probably due to being born and raised in Essex which brings out the cheeky in me.
Never a dull moment in my lessons, as I do enjoy making a fool of myself. The majority of laughs are aimed at me. It's a tough life but life is for laughing and it keeps me grounded, reminding me that I am not super human.
